We steer clear of the typical tourist attractions, introducing our guests to the authentic essence of ‘our’ Melbourne. Exploring hidden treasures, we delve into the significant issues our city currently confronts, providing guests with a genuine understanding of what it truly means to be a Melburnian.

Hi, I’m Liam, the founder of Wayward Wanders. With over 15 years of tour guiding experience across Australia and Europe, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for uncovering the unique stories that bring places to life.

My journey has been shaped by a passion for environmental protection, social justice, and a keen interest in history, modern culture, and sustainability. I hold a Bachelor of Environment and Society from RMIT University, a Diploma in Sustainable Living from the University of Tasmania, and I am a graduate of the Environmental Leadership Program at Port Phillip City Council.

Beyond Wayward Wanders, I work as a Sustainability Manager at Quayclean Australia, where I help iconic venues like the MCG, Marvel Stadium, and Melbourne & Olympic Parks reduce their environmental footprint. I have also held environmental engagement roles with local government and the food rescue charity OzHarvest, further broadening my experience in driving positive change.

Wayward Wanders is the perfect expression of my passions and expertise. Through our tours, I aim to reveal the hidden sides of Melbourne, sparking curiosity and inspiring our guests to embrace sustainability and new perspectives in their everyday lives.
